All walkers should have adequate fitness and be checked for medical conditions by a doctor before taking part in any walks.
Children below 14 must be supervised by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
We require all walkers to be at start point, 20 minutes before every walk. This is for the purposes of registering. Walks will start on schedule. Lateness of participants will not prevent a walk commencement.
Free transport for guests staying at a select few hostels between the hostel accommodation and the start or finish of the selected walks each day.
Every walk has a leader and features a backmarker. The group size has a maximum of 20 walkers for every leader. If the group size is more than 20 walkers, then more leaders will accompany the group.
Leaders will be present at every start point despite bad weather. The walk could be changed or cancelled for the purposes of safety in exceptional weather conditions,
Supported and comfortable covered shoes are required as well as suitable clothing for all the weather and walking conditions encountered. Walkers must bring food and drink for walks. The coastal path walk requires adequate food and drink because the coastal path is not within close distance to local towns and services.
Dogs are allowed on walks with a short lead on dog permitted tracks.
The organizer reserve claim the right to change any aspect of the festival with no notice. The written program is accurate at the time of printing.
Organisers have taken all precautions for the safety of festival participants. However, they are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage to property, no matter how it is caused except to the extent to which it is unlawful to exclude such liability under the correct law. All walkers should purchase insurance for accidents and personal injuries. Walkers should only take part in walk if they have adequate fitness and attire. Walk leaders have the right to decline poorly equipped walkers under their supervision.
